Church Hall
Our Church Hall measures 10m by 10m and is capable of seating up to 105 people.
Facilities
include kitchen, cooking facilities and garden area (The Jubilee Garden).
The Hall is regularly used by the
Brownies and Guides as well as various clubs and fitness groups. It is ideal for parties and regular group meetings and
can be hired for one off events such as sales and Residents meetings.

St Nicholas Church
This beautiful 10th Century Church is open to all from dawn to dusk to visit and enjoy
our rich history. Tucked away from areas of violence and battle the Church has survived fairly unscathed across 11 centuries
until a fire in 1986 required major rebuilding work, including the replacement of the roof.
A generation later
the Church has been restored with the huge efforts of those, some of whom remain with the congregation today. Nevertheless
the Church funds remain depleted and in need of constant topping up ready for the next project. Please give generously when
you visit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Church and the churchyard.
One of the many hidden treasures
of the Church, revealed by a visit to one of the Sunday services, is the fantastic accoustics, brought alive by the St Nicholas
Choir.
If you have an event or concert you would like to put on and need a venue, the Church could be ideal. Contact
the Parish Office for details.

Pastoral Centre
Situated at the back of the Church Hall, the other side of the Church and nearest to Pound
Hill shops, the Pastoral Centre provides the facilities for a number of the outreach programmes which the Church undertakes.
The Centre is open as a coffee shop from 10:00 to 12:00 on Tuesday and Friday where drinks, cakes and sandwiches,
and bacon rolls can be purchased. A great place for a break and a chat. Away from the kitchen area is a small play area for
young children.
The Centre also opens up for drinks after the Sunday service where many of the congregation get
together and catch up.
The Pastoral Centre can be hired out for talks and social events. It seats up to 40 people.
Fully carpeted the Centre is comfortable and inviting. It is split by one step between upper and lower levels which can provide
added separation for those wishing to split into groups. It has kitchen facilities, toilets (with disabled facilities), storage
radiators and for instant heat there are overhead heating units.
